This is a great looking original President and a fun driving car.  Everything is original except for the seats which have been re-upholstered.  The paint is above average for its age, but does have scratches and chips.  There is only one small place in one front fender where rust has started to bubble, otherwise there is no rust perforation.  The floor boards and trunk are solid.

The pictures tell a good story, but seeing in person is really a treat.  I have most of the car's owner history, with information for all but one short term owner.  The odometer stopped at 52,229 miles, but is believed to have less than 65,000 miles on the car. 

This car gets the looks and compliments everywhere it goes.  A car this age is seldom found in this great condition.  Drive as is, or restore as desired. Engine runs strong, transmission shifts smooth. 

Recent work: 2011 - Radiator Re-cored, Engine main seal replaced. 2012 - Carburetor rebuilt, New Points, Rotor, Distributor Cap.

Issues: The gas tank has a leak at the seam in one spot. Instrument lights are intermittent due to faulty dimmer. The transmission is leaking slightly, but it is hard to tell where from.  Could be from main seals and or gasket. 

This is definatelly a major project, but is solid.  This won't go on e-bay, as the buyer needs to inspect the car to know what work is involved and to see it's true potential.

The floor boards and trunk are solid with only surface rust. There are a couple areas of rust-through, and some dents that need attention.  The hood has the creases at the corners from being forced past the hinge stops.

Gauges have been removed from the dash, but it comes with a complete dash assembly.  There is a replacement window for the broken passenger door glass.  The rest of the glass is good.  Nearly all the chrome will need re-finishing. It will need the passenger side chrome "V" that leads the rear fin.   

This car actually has only 32,000 miles.  It was wrecked in 1988 and purchased as a project vehicle.  It has been repaired over the years and stored inside. A good front clip was put on it by a professional body shop.  You cannot tell it was wrecked or repaired.  It has new fenders and hood, not repaired.  The dash was very cracked and has been replaced by a better, repaired dash.  All interior cloth and vinyl is tear-free. 

Items left to complete: Change oil, fill with coolant and replace fuel pump.  Re-install instrument cluster and center console. Paint and re-attach bumpers.
